I mean, sure, the Holy Spirit absolutely speaks to us when we read God’s Word… But I’m not going to magically know all of the history and backstory that I’d really like to know, just by reading the snapshots the Bible provides… You see, if I’m only reading the Bible through my own perspective and my own prior knowledge, I’m going to be really limited on what new information I can learn. Not really worth my time.īut lately, I’ve been challenged that I need to go deeper in my daily Bible study, so I started to really think about women’s Bible studies.
